Welding
What wire speed and Arc Voltage is recomended on panel replacement. Lincoln 175 welder, just curious.

you start with reading the chart inside the side cover then dial it in from there trial and error/ the chart gets you in the ballpark

you also must consider the wire size and type, if you are using gas the type of gas/gas blend you are using.
This usually is listed on the panel inside the door of the welder. and the settings are made as CDOWNS said. its ballpark then dial it in as you need.

i have a hobart 175 . to do sheet metal, i run .023 wire ( keeping the tension on the feed wheel light ) , with argon/co2 mix , on the lowest voltage setting , with a wire speed of around 15-25 .
