Need a rear bumper license plate bracket.
I know I can get one from a vendor, but what other years fit? I'm pretty sure I used one off a S10 with minor mods to the mounting holes when I did my 67. Thanks

Yeh ebay is the plan if I don't figure out what I used last time. I need the light too. It's been awhile since I've been to the JY but I could probably get both for under $10.

According to the fitment list on Summit, they should all be the same for 67-91 full size trucks and vans. I've got one that I removed from a mid-80s van that I'd sell for $25 plus shipping. I can post some photos if you're interested.

I don’t want to highjack this thread, but it’s weird that I saw this thread today. I was just talking with my son about this earlier today. He bought a chrome rear bumper that he wants to put on his truck (1972 C10) tomorrow. He did not buy the license plate bracket or light. He did buy the rear bracket set.
My question is, can the license plate bracket and light be installed after the new bumper is installed? Or do you need to install these before the bumper is installed? Thanks |
