Re: Die-cast 67-72

So, I have been thinking of transforming my remote control truck into a 72 Chevy longbed.

Would I be allowed to post here and would anyone think I am crazy?

Oh trust me I know, it all started with about a billion hotwheels when I was really young, then it slowly progressed and now I have 2 bookshelves full of jada diecast.

Yea, I have. Probably here on the board somewhere, but I can't remember for sure. It was white with red blue stripes IIRC.

If you buy hobby grade rc cars proline makes a 72 body you can put on but I have never actually seen one that came as a 67-72..

It's not remote control but it's the body for the remote control trucks. I'm going to finish it some day with a custom frame and paint it to match my real truck. I have 2 bodies.

Re: Die-cast 67-72

I know Pro-Line makes them;

http://prolineracing.com/bodies/1972...x-revo-savage/

http://prolineracing.com/bodies/1972...ed-clear-body/

http://prolineracing.com/bodies/1972...de-clear-body/

I think there may be others, but these are the ones I've used on my RC trucks.

Re: Die-cast 67-72

This is the thread that started the diecast pics on the boards. I dont have many pics of mine but am starting to take some to put on DVD and keep in case the house burns down so it will be easier to deal with the Insurance company. I'll start with the Danbury and Franklin Chevys I have taken so far.

That's a good one! I just had to get one,too,last fall when I saw it at Carlisle. They had just come out. This is the first 1/18 scale I have bought. I resisted until this one. I prefer the tradition scales over the newer larger stuff
