Re: With or Without Trim?

I personally like the trim because it gives you something to look at as your eyes look down the bed since your running a LB.

If you had a SB I'd say witout the trim.

I think the white in the side trim is one of the best things about the early 60's

Trim is a winner. Nice offset to the roof.

The trim appears to tie the whole look together; definitely use the trim.

Re: With or Without Trim?

Good choice the trim will "break up" that big ol' butt. I had some pinstriping done on mine, oh as an old surfer lowrider you nailed the look, and If I didn't say it before You have one killer ride .

There is a guy in the City of Industry that made them, they're metal too. Which is cool. I can try to get the guys info. It has been a couple years.

Re: With or Without Trim?

A big part of what makes a "six-fo" Impala such a great low-rider is the dual trim strips running the lenght of the car. It just makes it look longer. I think GM figured that out in the 30's and kept it up. It to bad they never made a posh truck in the 60s like the Cameo in the 50s.
