Re: Ideas for a 70 C-10

nice truck man, i got my first chevy at 17... your truck has a roll pan and a molded front peice instead of a font bumper. i fi were you i would fix up any rust and repaint it but that is just me i am not a fan or purple that looks like a mopar color. Any ways for pwer you could put a blower on it or try a rat style build up on it instead of buying a 383 make it. The one thing to keep in mindis as the hp goes up the gas needle goes down. i am guessing this is not your daily driver right?

good luck with it is it a wood bed floor? and what model was it?

if it was me i would stay away from the bottle. i am a big fan of "all throttle no bottle"

We grow all types of shade trees and shrubs.
I kinda like the purple color it sets it apart from others. It looks like a very nice truck.
I remember my first truck it wasnt near as nice as yours. It was a pea green 71 dodge with straight pipes and big echo cans on back. Needless to say after the first few tickets I had the exhaust fixed.

Re: Ideas for a 70 C-10

hey thanks guys. Ya after looking at yours and mine, i think i am going to take off that rear bumper. Something free to make it look better. I like that and yes, i plan on getting some fat tires in the back, on some 20" rims. But i dont really have a job right now, and its a daily driver so i cant really take it apart to much. But once i get a jeep wrangler, ill be able to rebuild it alot more

Re: Ideas for a 70 C-10

oo it probly wont be.... not untill i get a job and have time to fix it up. right now its just me and dad and i go to school and he works like 10-11 hours a day so there aint enough time to really work on it. And on the weekends we go to the dunes and go ride quads.... so for the moment the chevy project is on the back burner. but someday i hope to have it fully restored, with a 454 in it

72 Suburban, it's medium olive...sort of medium olive(a little lighter and more metallic). Still slowly working on it, as budget allows.
If you go to any cruises in Edmonton, you've probably seen it.

It's nice to see another local on the board. I'm from Edmonton too, I live on the edge of the west side of town. You got a nice truck there. If you want some more power, you should probably try to go with a supercharger and that will increase your horsepower by 50%.
