Re: Led dash lights

Yes you can. But the old wire rheostat dimmer in the light switch won't work any more as they won't draw enough current. Some versions are also polarity sensitive. They will light inserted one way and be dark if inserted the other way.

I purchased some from superbright LEDs: https://www.superbrightleds.com/ that didn't care about polarity.

They also come in colors if you want to experiment with different back light colors.

Re: Led dash lights

I replace mine with LEDs and it is much better. I bought dim-able LED lights. If you put them in backwards in the holder they wont work so just flip them around. Easy upgrade

Re: Led dash lights

Did you replace all the dash lights or just the 4?
I replaced all my dashboard lights and now none of them work. They
Are YITA MOTOR 2825 , 158, 192, 168, 194. It doesn't say if they are demmable lights or not. Any suggestions? Really need help.

Re: Led dash lights

It even worked in the socket for the shift indicator fiber optic cable.
