Now I don't want a bunch of PM's asking to buy this Beautiful signed Black Velvet Elvis . But I thought you all needed to see this one of a kind , Vintage , top quality Black Velvet Elvis . The rarity of this fine piece of art will be offered for your consideration on my local Craigslist . Hurry it won't last long ! Perfect item to be displayed in a place of worship over your head board ! Your wife will swoon and your friends will be envious ! ...

Re: Elvis's Truck for sale, No,, really it is

I got a couple of the same velvet picture from the semi at the crossroad gas station in '75. They had a 2 for 1 bargain sale (to get fuel money to make it back home)

What did Carl Perkins drive? I'm more interested in him as an entertainer. BTW, I know the owner of the third car shown (yellow torpedo back). It's a modern built throwback.

I'm assuming you know the post about the "rare black velvet Elvis " was a joke ? Just because anything has some relation to Elvis Or any other personality doesn't mean it's more valuable . At least not to me . I couldn't care less who owned it in the past

I suspected it was, but just in case.

Just because anything has some relation to Elvis Or any other personality doesn't mean it's more valuable . At least not to me . I couldn't care less who owned it in the past.

On that i would have to agree. Unless they plan to fix it when it breaks down; their "aura" is just more wind.

My wife an i both love Elvis, and that pic is very nice.

Thanks anyway.

Re: Elvis's Truck for sale, No,, really it is

It would mean a lot if I was buying a vehicle directly from and dealing with a famous person I had interest in or just way totally famous to everyone, just for sake of future conversation. Might pay an extra hunert, too.

So you're saying you aren't really selling a velvet Elvis? Just double checking

Re: Elvis's Truck for sale, No,, really it is

On our cross country motorcycle trip we stopped at Graceland. But there was no way in hell I would pay 35$ to tour the house.

Now my mom has a personal autograph from Elvis . They were staying at the Foutain blue hotel in FL. She got in an elevator and he was in it with his security. The autograph says " Rose we had a great ride , Elvis.
She also has the whole rat packs on a menu from there too.
