71 3/4 ton parts on 67 1/2 ton?

So I have a 67 short-step 1/2 ton with coils.
I am working a deal to get a 71 3/4 ton with leafs from my mom.
I know I can use the motor, A/C, PS, PB body parts etc...
But, is it possible to convert the beefy rear end in the 3/4 ton to 5 lug and put it in my truck? I will be using the 396 from the 71.

The way I'd go about that is convert the axle to coil. That would be easier than swapping the suspensions and you'd keep your ride about the same. That rear should be a Dana60 3.54:1 ratio.

Does anyone make an axle swap to convert the 8 lug to 5 lug?

Never mind. I wasn't aware of the design of the 3/4 ton rear end. I can just swap the hubs to 5-5.5
