Welded the seams, too, huh? I thought about that, but didn't do it. I'll have to go back and weld them. That is why you are the Master and I am the young grasshopper. I have so much knowledge to gain.

The '69 tub was sold as a tub & only the tub, chassis is going back to the guy I got it from who's discovered he needs one now, all the rest of the parts I've gleaned onto over the years for my own personnel build will be installed into this one.

Lizard Skin spray in liner offers both sound & heat control, plus it's paintable.

This is the next step, masking has started...

This is the gun that comes with the jobber kit.

This is my new carpet.

When I spray it, you'll hear all about it I'm sure, good/bad or indifferent.

Bought it on-line, directly from Lizard Skin.

Sounds good as of now, no harmful chemicals & it cleans up with water.

Looks great, now that the weather is cooling off i'm gonna bring mine to my folks place and start sandblasting the chassis and getting it all cleaned up. I'll be following along with yours for motivation.

Good thing there's still some POR left in the can...

Had the pleasure of removing the rivets that hold the leaf mount...yeehaw.

Shackle flip is temporarily installed, sits level on it's own now at least.

Not the leaf springs I'll be useing, so no worries about the axles not being centered.

Might of mentioned it once but like Big J and sanding, for me it's masking, it really sux.

Heading back out for the 2nd coat, might need a third, dunno yet.

I just now noticed that you have two flavors of Lizard skin....sound control and ceramic insulation. What's the order? CI, then SC? Or can you mix them?

Sound control goes on first, Ceramic is last.

They say the ceramic coating is thinner and lays down better, supposed to fill some of the pockets...so they say.

Sprayed the 2nd coat HEAVY, might be thick enough now.
Hope so, getting up under that dash just isn't all that much fun at all.

subscribed love these blazers to death! that lizard skin looks great too! What are you goin to do for a tranny transfer crossmember? I ask because I found a good 700r4 and 241 and Im not to sure what to use...

Use the stock crossmember....just move it back 2.5 inches.

Lizardskin is looking good. A little more cottage cheese than I expected though.

I wasnt sure if it would line up, the crossmember on the burb its in right now is different then how ours looks so I just wasnt sure if I needed a new one, thanks AJ
