This thread reminds me of when I was younger and working on things, like my old '86 truck. The more you rush things, the longer they take. If you stay patient, go through everything with a fine tooth comb, you never have to worry about anything going wrong with your work. You also don't have to drive everywhere on a prayer, just hoping nothing breaks. Stay with it, but do it the right way the first time.

The truck has been sold for over a year now. I'm currenty been daily driving a 67 ford 3/4ton 4x4. (highboy)

Those words were inspiring towards me. Gives me hope on my 82 K10...
But yeah everyone in my family had squares. Got mine now.. hoping to find a 79 Silverado as welll...
