Weird stuff that you do.
I have to admit that I do some weird things. Nothing too crazy. Just weird.
For instance I wrap bedsheets around my neck when I sleep. The reason... When I was a kid I watched some vampire movie and it scared the living cr@p out of me. So I wrapped up my neck. Now obviously I'm not worried about vampires anymore. But I am so used to sleeping that way that I still do it. I sleep better. I've had wives/girlfriends ask me if I was nuts. Maybe I am. But it works for me. I also eat cheeseburgers for breakfast. Then bacon and eggs for dinner. I seem to have this backwards. I put mustard on french fries. Not Ketchup. I also read magazines backwards. I always start on the last page and move forward. I'm just curious if anyone else has some weird quirks. Or am I the only nut job?

Re: Weird stuff that you do.
No matter how hot I am I have to at least have a sheet covering me . I sleep with a ceiling fan on and window A/C running summer and winter , has to be cold for me to sleep . I also sleep with my stereo on with classic Rock , I like catsup and mustard mixed together on my Fries , What I eat for any meal does not matter to me , I read magazines the same as you do . I have a nice modern smart T/V that I never turn on .

Re: Weird stuff that you do.
I feel I need to hunt high and low for the best deal when it comes to buying a new set of tires, but will easily lay out the cash for a tool if there’s a chance I can use it in the future. Probably not too weird...
I have the habit of pulling weeds that appear in the cracks of 2 parking lots. My business and where I go to church. I may even have a load in my arms... when I see one poking through I have to stop and yank them out, preferably by the roots of course. I’d call this one fairly weird... Brian

Re: Weird stuff that you do.
Kinda depends on who we are talking with doesn't it?
Likely "weird" for most people I might meet. I have carried and do carry a hanky, gum, powerful flashlight with strobe, pepper spray, firearm, and reload whenever legal and least bit convenient. I have for decades. I shave my face, neck, and "below belt" with a 106 year old straight razor. I drive 55 or maybe 60 mph whenever possible. I am dating/engaged to a woman 11,000 miles away. I wear police/duty leather boots daily. I will not so much as own flip flops. I reuse water bottles, refill with tap water, keep them for years. |

Is anyone REALLY normal?
Everyone has their quirks, but most won't admit it! Me,I collect tools.I have many 10 mm sockets! And,I collect trucks too! About 20 right now. And,I quit eating boogers at a very young age.Right after my mom slapped the crap out of me! Mike. |

I always considered myself pretty normal, but I just realized, I hang out here.

I have a safe sitting in my carport with nothing in it. I open it up now and then just for fun.

Re: Weird stuff that you do.
I don't know if it's weird are not but I want all the light switches down if the lights are off. I will turn switches around in the boxes if they are wrong.
I never ate Boogers that I know of. I want all my vehicles to be Chevy's also now that is weird!

When I was 7, one of the neighbor kids was eating his boogers, and encouraged me to do so. One taste, I was done with that!

An electrician's nightmare ... Imagine the same pet peeve with a customer who has 3 way switches literally everywhere in their house! One customer still couldn't understand that at some point in time, the three way switches will be in the up position when the lights are off and vice versa. I even went so far as to turn the switches in their boxes to her liking before I left the first time..... only to be called back no less than 10 more times to flip them again. The last time i had her watch me work the switches so the they were pointing down when off. I knew she still didn't get it but she also never called again. Im sure she is still baffled and probably losing her mind

Although, that’s nothing compared to the lady who ONLY eats McDonalds french fries... with ketchup of course. Google it. Bizarre. Apparently I like being the guy who decides what weird is.

Re: Weird stuff that you do.
I do realize that a two way are three way one is going to be up and I'm ok with that. All though I sure wished the switch was down when off! Yes I was a sparky but only because I worked at a power plant.

Re: Weird stuff that you do.
You want weird? How about this. After a few months in L.A. (I grew up in the country) I occasionally decide to GTH out (!!!) of town and leave the little woman at home with her Walmart box of wine and throw my bag in the car and drive like the wind for hundreds of miles.............until I stop, look around at some tiny little town in the middle of nowhere like "Wofford Heights" and go " WTH am I doing here???!!!! And drive home. Once I drove 1000+ miles in one day doing this. Screw loose? maybe. -BA
