We had a dog at one time when ever there was a thunder storm and he was outside he would run away being scared of the thunder.

Re: Weird stuff that you do.

I can't drink from a paper coffee cup where the seam is.

I have to rotate the seam 180 degrees from where I am drinking.

If I go to Starbucks or McDonalds and they put the lid on so that the mouthpiece is lined up with the seam it blows me out of the water until I can correct it.

That's not weird, everyone I know is like that. It also helps find the mouthpiece if you are in the dark . Makes sense to me.

Re: Weird stuff that you do.

I like to identify the person in the room / car who stunk the joint up. Each person in my family has their own “brand” as I like to call it. I’ve leared it’s best to open the window next to the guilty party and not the window closest to your face, as a matter of self preservation. By the way, the wife’s are the hands down worst....

I also like to see how quick asparagus makes my pee stink. Start the timer when I eat it, and stop it when my pee becomes stinky. It just seems crazy how fast that stuff goes through my system. So far, my record is 11 minutes.

Re: Weird stuff that you do.

There's some weird stuff going with you guys out there . I guess the weirdest thing I do is I used to like drink a Heineken with a chilled shot of Sambvca when I lived on the beach . The Sambvca turns from a clear to a cloudy white when chilled and has a black licorice taste . Many a vacationer to the beach would ask "Whats that " and proceed to have a few shots with me ending with them very drunk heading back to their hotel room . Well I don't drink much anymore but still love my beer so I'll have some black licorice with my Heineken now That's about as weird as it gets around here .

P.S. it's great in coffee ,

I ate asparagus once then had to use the urinal at work. There was a guy using the next urinal and he gave me a dirty look. It stunk.

I have notice that also ,,many years ago.. my Doctor told me that your urin needs to be colored some as that means your kidneys are working properly .. didn't ask about the smell ,,maybe it means all is better. And maybe not.. that gets things to going

These days the medical advice is "clear or uncolored urine as evidence of sufficient hydration."

Re: Weird stuff that you do.

My Ex-wife told me " I never have to worry about you cheating (unfaithful)", as we were driving by a handful of 20 something ladies. "I have to worry what car or truck you will be bringing home next" as I pull off the road to see a truck or car in someones yard.

I usually only eat mustard on sandwiches and burgers. Mayo has too many calories.
No ketchup either - tabasco sauce for my french fries.
I would pick fresh fruit over potato chips every time.
I have had so many GM products, but love pre 1980 Pentastar cars.

That's funny Cornerstone
I always make sure when I am driving with my wife in the vehicle,
And I get ready to (Let one go) I make sure the window lock button
is locked. Then I blame it on ______
She got smart her current vehicle has a sunroof.

Re: Weird stuff that you do.

Mayo has calories? Are you sure?

I think Dr. Atkins' wrote it did not. Anyway, when I did Atkins' and lost 25 pounds in 3 months, I used at lot of mayo on my breadless sandwiches.

I just had a look.....my mayo jar has 90 calories but 0 carbs. I am not sure how that is possible. Dr. Atkins' was all about carbs, not calories.

Mayo is egg whites and oil . Wipped up rather disgusting when you think about it. So no carbs

I order egg whites dry toast and then get a double order of bacon. You have to choose your artiery clogging foods carefully

I don't worry about the position of the light switch on of off but all the slots on the screws must face north an south and recepticals the ground on top over the hot and neutral

I knew a guy at work. We would go to Burger King for lunch. He would order 2 Whoppers with no mayonnaise because he was trying to lose weight.

I knew that would make some go crazy. But actually there is no national code to specify the orientation of the plug .
But next time your in a hospital look at the plugs. The ground is on top. Reason is if the cord comes loose and something metal contacts the cord plug at the receptical it will hit the ground not the hot and neutral which could cause a spark.

I was told by an electrician that the new way of doing things was "ground on top for safety." It does look a bit odd but when I hired him for some work, I went with his suggestion.
