Looks like a great first show. I wish I could have snuck on over for a while. York Fairgrounds (Expo Center... whatever

) is a great venue for automotive shows. Some really nice trucks there. My favorite vehicle shown is the '61 Invicta

Yeah, the 58-61 GM cars were largely overlooked until later on. I also love the Riviera. I had a '63 for many years. A very nice one. But '61 has become my favorite GM body for the '60s. I like that they are transitional. They were the step away from tail fins of the late '50s, and boy did the '60s have some, yet they retained all the roofline options from the prior years. This is why '49s are also a favorite... transitional post-war style. Fenders went into the body/no trace of running boards, but retained the same rooflines as well. You still had the torpedo back and 5 window coupe.

As far as 67-72 trucks go, I'll take the blue one in post#2. That's all you need to do to these trucks if you want to modify. K.I.S.S., it's timeless

It was done very well he was asking 24k for it. I always liked them but room is a consideration now. If the guy goes for my offer on the 37 I'll have to sell another car. Thinking the amx.
