Inverted shocks for 6" lift

We have a 95 GMC with a 6" Pro Comp suspension lift and it requires front shocks. We used Ranch 9000 series adjustables but the upper control arm hit them and punctured the tubes

I have heard of inverted shocks to prevent this, can anyone shed some light on which ones to buy?

Re: Inverted shocks for 6" lift

if they are and EYE to EYE shock and the bore is the same, just flip them.

technically, they may have a slight dead spot upon initial movement, but most people will never feel it.
