"Memories, pressed between the pages in my mind.....memories."

Just got this "Velocity stack" out of a box in the garage. This very one is on my truck the day I brought it home Dec 1974 when I was 15. I have never seen another one like it. I am so glad I saved it. No, I am not a hoarder, I save things that really matter, things I could never get again.
I think I need to make a piece of art out of this one day.

And YES that is the velocity stack sticking up ABOVE the top of the cowl!

If you are new to the forum you wouldn't have seen this intake that I have posted a million times (sorry older dudes.)

It was home made by my brother and his friend in high school metal shop class. I bought the truck from his friend and that friend just passed away about a month ago.

I jokingly called it the "Martin-Duarte Tarantula tunnel tube."

That was quite a piece of engineering for a group of high school kids.

77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.

Yep, they packed the tubing with sand, heated it up and bent it, wild huh?

Wish I had it, sold it and I have no idea where its at.

I just sent an email to the guy I believe sold that intake for me. It was one of his friends, that would be so friggin wild if I could get it to hang up in my garage!
