Re: Jason's 70 Big Block SWB Project

It'd been awhile since I've logged on here, spring time is always busy around the house getting everything back in order and cleaned up after winter. My wife and I took a trip to Pigeon Forge this weekend for a quick relaxing break, it just so happened to be the All Truck Nationals there....... what's the chance, huh. Anyway I took the old black C/10 down and I did put a for sale sign on it friday. Alot of tire kickers but no interest that day, I told her I was going to drive back to the show for a couple hours on Saturday, well then it happened, SOLD. When the fellow told me he would take the truck, it was probably the hardest to let go vehicle I've ever had, even though I've had ups and downs with the build it was tough to see it go. But now I'm back looking for something else and by no means I don't want this to be a WTB thread but Im leaning towards an Ls swapped 67-72 , once you get the fever there's no cure......

Mudman.
I'm definitely not going to be in a hurry, the Goodguys show at Columbus is in July so I'll go and see if there are any trucks for sale at it.

Thanks Scott, he was very pleased with it. We have been in contact with each other, he's had some questions about certain things and he's keeping me updated on some stuff he's changing.

Good idea, usually a few for sale at a show and can compare and even if you don't still gives you ideas and a better overall plan of what you want.

Re: Jason's 70 Big Block SWB Project

Well after going to shows and swap meets, wasted trips traveling here and there to check out trucks I pulled the trigger on this one this weekend.
