Wood bed cross sill help

I'm in the process of installing a wood bed and have run on a snag. The cross sills I ordered did not come with the plates that are on the bottom of them like shown in the LMC catalog. Does anyone know where to purchase them separate from the cross sills?

Also, Do the reinforcement strips attach to the chassis or only the wood?

Does anyone have the spacing of the cross sills and reinforcement strips front to back? The front two are obvious but the others are not.

Check with Mar-K in Oklahoma. They carry all kinds of parts for wood beds.

Re: Wood bed cross sill help

I found the brackets at classic industries.

Can anyone help on the spacing and if the reinforcement strips only attach to the wood and not the chassis?

Re: Wood bed cross sill help

For board spacing see GMC Pauls website....

http://gmcpauls.com/47-72_BedWood_Info.htm

The bed strips attach to the front bed panel and the bed cross sills, but not the rear cross sill.

Being a fleet side the wood attaches to the bed sides, your fender wells, and the two pieces with the offset washers attach to the frame.
