Front disc brake kit... Front hoses rubs on shocks.... Help

I recently did a front disc conversion on my 67 gmc. Got it all together but when steering is locked outward on either side the hose will touch the shock. I see no other way to run these hoses. It has a extra rubber sleeve on it so the hose isn't directly rubbing. Is this acceptable? Should I be looking for another way to do this? It won't get caught in the spring. Pictures just look like it's close but it's not. At no other position does the hose come in contact with anything.

I did some research and I ordered Bendix hose 88466. Seemed to work for quite a few people so I'll try it.

That hose looks to be a little too long. It probably would hurt anything to run it but eventually you would have a worn spot where it rubs on turns. I think it would take years to be a issue though.

I just got mine in and they appear to be about 3 inches too short if run the way I think they should be. Have you installed yours? Any pictures?

I installed one side tonight. It works but now at full lock it is 1/2" away from the tire. Dang conversions. Thought on this?

What makes you say that? Have you had luck with that hose?

Chewychevy - are you liking that length? Did you measure it by chance? I need to measure mine and see what size is best.

I never measured them but I can. I do like the length but I realized last night that my calipers are on the wrong sides with the bleeders pointing down. I will have to swap them to make sure the hose route is still good. Not sure when I'll get to that.

Same issue here. This is the stainless steel brake line kit from CPP, trying to figure out the best way to coil the snake:

Brake hose dilemma was discussed here. I guess the brake line and bracket for 71-72 is on the other side requiring a longer hose.
