Electric steering is some thing I am seriously considering for my ‘50 3/4 ton. If you haven’t already YouTube electric steering conversion and you will find a couple of good videos that retrofit production units to older cars. It’s a fair amount of work but not any more complex than many other modern upgrades. The vehicles I have driven with factory electric steering are fantastic.

On a 67-72 My main concern would be the slow ratio on the factory manual steering box. Curious if the one-year 67 ram assist power steering would have a faster ratio steering box? Can anybody here comment on that?

I have restored the ram steering on my 67 and I did look for a faster ratio for it with no luck. That was about 8 years ago.
