No big deal. I didn't change them last time. Now they'll be right again.

Re: Time change weekend, again..

Yep, time for standard time. I can't argue with that. The days are so short in the winter that we need to shift the clocks so we can work and see what we are doing at 7am. And it's nice to get home and still have a little daylight. Can't make the days longer but we can shift the clocks to make better use of it.

Re: Time change weekend, again..

i wish we would stay with standard time after we change. Daylight in the summer at 9pm makes it hard to stop what you are doing and get to resting.

The further north you are the shorter the day . Few weeks it will be dark when I get up and at 4 pm or so . It gets depressing

Re: Time change weekend, again..

I normally don't have a problem with adjusting to the time shift, but I got caught this past Friday. I had an appointment to get to after work, so I was keeping an eye on the wall clock. I was thinking it was getting to be an abnormally long day, when I looked at my watch. The custodian had decided to be proactive and set the clocks back an hour on Friday morning. I was late for my appointment.

Re: Time change weekend, again..

Too soon is as bad, in the opposite direction, as forgetting to set them. As you go to bed works best. At work it would be first thing Monday morning. After all, it will be obvious to everyone getting there (what would seem to be) an hour early.

I don't like driving to work in the daylight. It feels late. Something about traveling under the cloak of darkness to start the day just seems right.
