probably already asked... but

what oil pan are you dropmember ls guys running? im wondering how well/if my stock truck pan will clear?

98-02 f-body pan. Truck pan sump will be much lower than the dropmember.

awesome thanks! is there any benifit to going with an aftermarket pan, say the one holley advertises, other then the extra clearance?

I think the aftermarket pans just look kinda cool. But unnecessary and the cost twice as much as a complete fbody pan set up. You'll need the windage tray and pickup tube as well

Here's mine, 77 Nova clip, 02 Camaro pan. the LS pan is much shallower but the sump is longer than the truck pan. hope this helps.
