Actually, the electronics in the trans make it perform a lot better. Plus, the computer wouldnt perform as it should. Its a good idea to swap transmissions, in theory, however it just wouldnt be right. Thanks for the input.

I have exactly what you need, A 4l60e out of my '94 c1500 2wd. I took it out and replaced it with a "built" one that i had redone. It has around 170k miles on it and worked great when pulled. I just put a new 355 with cam heads and intake, so i wanted to be safe and just replace it all at the same time. I was looking to get $200+shipping for it, That is what some places wanted for cores and i really have no use for it anymore. If you need pics let me know, I really need to get rid of it!!!

Thanks for your response Hammered. I think the shipping would probably kill me though. Could you see how much it would cost to ship it (maybe a freight company?) to 84115? Thanks for your help.

Post your shipping needs here: http://www.ytmag.com/cgi-bin/haulquery.pl

Probably would cost $50.

From looking around on EBAY and other sites, I found that shipping is around $110-$150.

But, I took a look on that website mentioned above and found a guy that is going to be coming within an hour from my house and then returning to Salt lake city. I tried to E-mail him for a price quote but my Hotmail is down!!! If you get a chance you might try to shoot him a line and see what he says it might be worth a shot!! I am in the Durant,Ok area about an hour south of OKC.

Okay, I talked to the guy from salt lake city, heres what he said:
He's coming to OK in october and would charge $50 to haul it back with him. I didn't think you were wanting to wait that long, but it was worth a shot. tell me what you think.

Yeah, I kind of need it pretty soon. Although the price and shipping is very reasonable. I'll put you in my buddy list and let you know.
