Re: Slowly I build a truck
Awesome! Doing this thing right!!!
I am jealous of that nice sheetmetal and getting them blasted and primed!!! I'm sure it's costly but it's going to make a SUPER nice truck!

Re: Slowly I build a truck
Thanks guys!
I couldn't get the brake line loose where it attaches to the wheel so I used the hacksaw on it. I was replacing the brake lines anyway. Here's some progress at the shop: Replacement dash is welded in so I'm back to the original radio. |

Re: Slowly I build a truck
It was a big debate on whether to go original or not, but I'm going with Atlantic Blue Pearl with thanks to 68Stepbed. It was also a debate on white top or not, but I'm going with white top.

Re: Slowly I build a truck
The bed and doors are painted. I really struggled with whether to go with an original color or with one I like. I'm pleased. I think I made the right choice. This is Atlantic Blue Pearl. I originally did not want to do a bed-liner, but I'm afraid the bed floor has too many dings in it and I'm hoping a light bed-liner will help disguise it. I'm not sure whether to go black or try to match the color.
