I know my request is off the topic, but what transmission do you have? I have a th350 and want to go to a 700r4. if you have the 700r4 is it factory? and could you post a picture of the steering column so I can see the shift indicatator please. id like to switch to tilt column but would also like the factory look for the 700r4 if theres any difference. thank you for your time and excellent job on your 2500!

I've got an 87 with a factory 700r4 and tilt. The shift indicator looks largely the same. Even uses the same simple cable driven system to move the needle. You can get the whole assembly from LMC for like 30 bucks.

And along with everyone else here, let me say to the OP great job on your truck!
