Tailgates.....
Is stock tailgate lettering always White? Did they leave 'em blank sumtimes? Did they use any color depending on the truck?

My 69 3/4 body paint is white with the Chevrolet in Black on the tailgate.

Black lettering applied for most trucks. GMC's have the custom satin finish lettering option for their tailgates. No other color-match available that I know of.

Most that I have seen have been white.
