Dumb question on adding tach cluster

so on a 1971 C10 that did not come with a factory tach how hard is it to hook up the tach to one of Classic Instruments new clusters with a tach?

Thanks,

Thumbs up Re: Dumb question on adding tach cluster

The factory tach's had a 2 wire harness which you can buy on line. The one in my picture was a stock one. 1 wire goes to the distributer marked on a HEI as tach and the other goes to the fuse block under the dash on any place that gets 12 volts with the truck running.
As the picture shows it's separate from the other harness.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
