Great looking truck! I've never seen any other factory black stepsides with the red pinstriping and saddle interior. Mine even has the same high back bucket seats in tan (had them removed and at the upholsterer when I took the picture) is that the original paint and factory bucket truck?

Re: Please post pics of your stepside thanks

got it off ebay this year (2013) from a dealer in ca.
6 cyl.
3 on the tree.
around 73k miles.
no rust.
paint was tired...

so I prepped and painted it myself with a high tech roller and high tech auto paint. sounds crazy, I know, but came out nice and I did it panel by panel...just need to sand it.

built the box rails.

Nope, mine is far from original. It's a work in progress and will evolve a little more with a '79 front clip. My first plan for the truck was going to be orange paint, but I really like black. Originally the truck was a red/white two tone with a fleetside bed and a maroon bench interior.

Re: Please post pics of your stepside thanks

It was a custom trucks of texas seat and I took it apart and had a guy do the seats, door panels and dash. I had the embroidery done also. I painted the arm rest/storage compartment with the same paint that's used on pianos
