speaker box build up........

o.k. this is for my Nova project BUT i figured the box is small enough those of you with buckets might get the idea gears going. I am also a little board so i thought i would post. it starts from the begining to alomost done. all i need to do is glass the joint where the two pieces meet, rap in a vinal to match and pretty much done......(if anyone feels like this does not belong do your duty and delete)

I am using our CVT6.5 (shallow mount) sub it measures about 2 7/8" deep and measures outside basket to outside basket 6 7/8" and needs about .2--.3cu ft.

Re: speaker box build up........

the box measures roughly about 9"X12"X20" outside with 3/4" MDF. We do these in an 8" also so that would fit nice and easy between some buckets.

Re: speaker box build up........

Not to derail from the thread but I just read in your sig, nvrsatisfied,

i am not a failure. i have just found 10,000 ways that don't work. -Thomas Edison

I just watched National Treasure for like the tenth time the other day and it make me think of that..

Nice box btw. One day I will have to post up a few pics of some of my glass work. Keep it up!
