Re: Newbie with a 65 Chevy

That was my first truck it has a 6 cylinder powerglide. The PO was about to send it to the crusher so I saved it. It looks like it will be most of the build except for the roof.

Stay Warm… We're forecast to get 2-4 more inches of Frozen Sunshine Monday into Tuesday and my motivation Factor is about -10... On the bright side, this coming weekend is forecast to me in the mid 50's... Looking forward to some truck time!!!

Re: Newbie with a 65 Chevy

I got a day off work and could not wait on the snow to melt so I pulled the donor around to the front of the shop.

Re: Newbie with a 65 Chevy

Started looking for all the rust. I have 2 cabs and both have rust in different places so I am trying to decide which cab to use for the build.

If one has structural rust to pillars, or floor braces and the other is more or less just sheet metal, I would go with the sheet metal.
Just a couple cents worth of opinion man....
