What is a late 60s 327 and a later model 350 trans worth?

Re: 327/w 350 trans

this is kind of an old thread, but we had a similar thread about a 327 on the 67-72 boards.

General consensus was that if it was out of, say, a vette or an impala ss or something, -- it might be worth quite a bit to the right buyer (someone needing correct casting 3's etc.)

If its a garden variety 327, its worth about what any 350 would be. If it runs or has a recent rebuild and is complete and ready to drop in something- maybe 800 - 1500 (or more, depends on how its built and if it can be documented.)

But if its just rebuildable cores, i'd say $250 for the engine and $100 for the tranny

327's do seem to have a devoted following though -- kind of like 427's - whereas 350's and 454's are treated like bellybuttons
