Update: I'm back & just got my stainless 1 5/8 sbc headers installed. Having a 67 with the wide framerails, I had to relieve it in a few spots. Nbd there. I used Stage 8 hardware. There were a few other spots of interference. My motor uses a factory long, high torque starter and I had to dimple one tube a bit to allow an airgap. I also had to bend/massage a few brake lines. Overall, they fit great and look even better. I'm using 1st gen Trick Flow Twisted Wedge heads with angled plugs and I'm able to use 90 deg plug boots. I'm doing a 3sp to auto conversion & so I built my own trans crossmember.
