What's your opinion on the ride tech coil over set up now that you have had a chance to put some miles on it? ow much height adjustment do you have with them?

I'm very happy with it. Truck rides great with the coil overs. I'm not sure on how much exact adjustment you have but I'm sure somebody from Ridetech could help you with that. My only concern with the kit is the front lower control arms ride kinda close to the ground. I've bottomed them out a couple of times. If you run a bigger wheel than I am you probably would have a lot more clearance.

Yep, that tire is a little over 26" tall a 28" tall tire might give the control arms some breathing room. Only down side is it will raise the front about 1" and stance you have is killer, and who'd want to change it.

Re: 1967 swb frame off build

one of my favorite builds and a lot of inspiration here.

Question: how did you get such pretty paint by just painting in your garage with not even a "booth" set up in there? What did you do to prep area and air and parts?

My father painted the truck and he's a retired paint and body guy. We have the correct water seperstor and dryers on the air lines so it comes out pretty clean. We spray the floor down with water to keep dirt and dust from flying when he's spraying.

Just listened to the motor sound clips. Very nice. What all did you do internally on the motor? Anything you wish were different or would change suspension wise?

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

It's a stock short block so nothing done internally. I'm pretty happy overall with how it turned out. The only thing that I'm changing which I'm in the process of doing right now is the trans. I took the turbo 350 out and I'm putting in a 4l80e. I might put power steering on it too.....

Re: 1967 swb frame off build

The truck is back under the knife. Turbo 350 is out and I'm about to install a 4l80e with a 3600 stall Yank converter. I also ditched the Edelbrock intake for a Fast lsxrt intake. The Edelbrock intake looks much better but for a n/a motor it doesn't perform the best.

Re: 1967 swb frame off build

Have a question guys. What do you think my truck is worth after looking at my build thread? I'm wasn't planning on selling it, but someone has offered me a decent dollar for it. Just curious what you guys think.
