95 4l60e

Can a 95 4l60e be re wired to work behind a 2003 4.8 ls ?
I have a low milage 4l60e in a van I am using for various parts

I have a 4l80e for my main build

You would need to swap the Valve Body, Separator Plate, & Internal Harness for 1996 to 2006 versions. You can use '07/'08 Valve Bodies with '96-'06 Plate & Harness.

i know where i can get a few 97 up core trannies for donor parts

I am looking at some of Richards videos on yt and got a copy of cliff mcormacks 4l60 and 4l80 books
I may try rebuilding a 4l80 for one of my trucks

Looking at my pile of parts and figure out parts to play with first

I was down near Fort Worth a few years ago i did training in Dallas for a few days very nice area to visit wish i had more time to see more then that crazy monkey bar

If that's all it takes then whats the 298 vs 300mm difference talked about with 4L60's?

That applies to the pump and torque converter earler ones smaller latter ones larger
Need to match up the pump and torque converter

And be aware of the spacing differences as the LSx crankshaft is .400" shorter. The 300mm TC pilot is extended .400".
