Here is the grille bar that I pulled off the 67. I know projectking is really interested in it. It is in really nice shape for it's age. Needs some minor body work and the surface scale cleaned up. Not warped or cracked and has no torn areas. Has no holes in it. $125 plus shipping. Money order only as I don't have paypal.

Poor choice of words on my part. What I was looking at was from the forming process on the rear flange at the center. Hope this helps to clarify things.

Fender to fender at top of grille. Hood latch & center support mount to it. '69-'72s use the grille surround there, which also makes up for the steep/shorter hood

So I am new to the 67-68 grill. I am piecing one together. This not connected to the grill? I better go check mine! I must have 68 grill as I see the holes for the latch?

I just realized why you are asking. I see no mention of GMC in the thread. This is a 67/68 GMC grille bar.
