Front Rockers

Another rocker question...

I need front outer (and inner) rockers for my '72 Suburban and I noticed that some retailers list them as interchangeable with pickup rockers, and some do not. Are they the same? Are there any fitment issues?

Looking at the shipping cost for this auction, I think these people are "off of their rockers..."

Ebay Auction

Attached is a picture of my passenger side rocker.

The drivers side rockers are the same as pickup. The Passenger front rocker is different but a pickup rocker can be modified to work. You will need to either cut the original below where the rubber bumper hole is or if you are good with a hammer & dolly and a pair of snips & a MIG, then you can actually duplicate the rear portion of the burb rocker using the p/u rocker. It took me about an hour to modify the p/u rocker. The inner rockers are the same for the front. For the third door, we are at the mercy of the suppliers right now as I don't believe the outers are available yet and I don't think there are any plans as of yet to do the inners for the 3rd door. I cut up another pass front rocker for use as a 3rd door rocker.
