Re: OMG 68 find

Tim,
Is it apart or together now? Can't tell what the current state is. Anyways, a very nice solid CST truck and if you bought it for 6500 when the photos show it was together, it was a nice deal.

Re: OMG 68 find

It is all together. I bought it apart but way to nice of a truck to part out so I put it all back together and had the motor rebuilt Asking $6500.00 pretty firm on that.

Re: OMG 68 find

I really like it and it certainly appears worth what you want. I need to sell something so it can be in my garage.

Re: OMG 68 find

I know guys around here have done that; never works out in the end though. Does this truck look familiar to anyone else? Previously listed a while back?

Re: OMG 68 find

WAY TOO much! There is nothing really 'THAT' special about that truck. I dont know where people get the idea these older trucks/cars are worth those kinda prices. Just craziness!

Re: OMG 68 find

I'm starting to think some people on here have personal agendas on here, Because I've seen trucks way nicer than that one selling for less and people acting like it's junk. I don't claim to have near the truck know how that most of you have, But unless that truck has a gold bar under the seat it's a $16,000 dollar truck.

Re: OMG 68 find

I don't understand what all of the hoopla is about. Someone obviously "just loved" the truck and wanted it bad enough to pay that much money for it.

It's kinda hard to explain sometimes, some people will think a certain car or truck is just the neatest thing since slice bread, while others just don't see it the same way. People just have different "tastes" in what they think is cool. For some, it might be a $20,000 paint job slammed on the ground with a set of 20's and a 6.0 under the hood. For others, it might be a low-mileage dead stock factory original truck that has been beautifully preserved. Then it seems, that everyone else is somewhere in the middle.

For what it's worth, I happen to like the truck as it is.

Re: OMG 68 find

Awesome truck I thought it would sell closer to 20k it looks like an exceptional example rare to find in such unmolested shape anymore and as I stated when I started this thread if I have the money I would have bought it.
