Re: What did you do WITH your truck today?
Used my 64 GMC how it was meant to be used today! That ol 305 V6 pulled that load like a champ.

Went to Fisher's Supply in Canby.
Picked up a new Pressure Tank for our Well, and a new Hot Water Heater.

Re: What did you do WITH your truck today?
I fed the beast today and took it on a cruise. Actually went bike shopping with my son. He outgrew his last bike here and needs a new one.

Re: What did you do WITH your truck today?
I finally got my 64 c10 on the ground and as a roller after almost a year. Started life as a longbed, 292 straight 6, 4 speed, manual drum brake, 6 lug, non power steering. What I have done to date...
Converted to shortbed Power brake conversion 5 lug disc front end Re drilled and turned rear axles for 5 lug Yanked the 292 for a roller cam vortec 350 that I rebuilt Still far from being about to move on its own power but atleast it's showing some progress!! |

Re: What did you do WITH your truck today?
I used it to drag my car out from hibernation. Left rear brake was locked up so it was hard to push. Was able to free it up after we got it out from its corner. The only reason I keep this car is it is an A code car. Front disc brakes, 4 speed with 4 barrel carb. I still have the original carb for it.

Drove it to work. It likes 0-dark-hundred show time.
It's been my DD for about 5 weeks now. That 4:30 PM ride though................I love driving the 64, but AC sure would be nice!!

Re: What did you do WITH your truck today?
Drove to the shop and fired up my Mustang for the first time in about 4 or 5 years.
Oil Pressure in the truck and idle. I think maybe it is time for a rebuild.

Re: What did you do WITH your truck today?
Thought I'd try bring this thread back. Last weekend we took some family photos with our newest edition Colt. Today I just drove it, put maybe 50miles on it then tucked it in for the night.

Seeing this thread pop back up makes me realise just how much I miss using Woody.
Mr Pounder, congratulations on a beautiful family. Can everyone start posting pictures of collecting their Christmas Trees? Please continue. P.

Re: What did you do WITH your truck today?
Not trying to be a jerk here, really I'm not.
What did you do WITH your truck means how did you use your truck like a truck today. I love the concept of that, and like to see those types of photos and posts. What did you do TO your truck means what new hardware did you put on it, what maintenance did you do, what bodywork did you do, etc. I love the concept of that, and like to see those types of photos and posts. There's a reason there are 2 separate threads for thes 2 very different things. |

Re: What did you do WITH your truck today?
I created a new license plate bracket. I have never liked the original location. It is all mock up parts. Have not put it on the truck yet.
