Walmart doesnt tighten oil filters jiffy lube doesnt know how to tighten the oil plug or the fill thing if they even put em on at all and ive heard stories about Quaker state leaving the oil out. Only one out of all of em id trust to work on any of my cars is Randy lol but i aint driving to virginia for a d@mn oil change!!! and if i did hes the only one id let do it lol

Gee, you have to change it? I just put some in the top and watch it come out the bottom every time I drive it. No smoke out the back. 1 qt. to a tank of gas. Every now and then I do empty and change the filter. Really need to get the 1 ton together and start plugging some leaks in the 4X4.

you know come to think of it, I probably won't get it do again, but there is a fast lube place in my area that is mom&pop owned, that a buddy of mine goes to for quite a while now and he hasn't had any trouble, I think if you checked around, you could find a place like Randy has that would be good

It depends. On my truck, I change the oil - end of discussion. On my car I change it if the weather is good or I'll wait for a good day to do it. That's only because I don't have a garage, or a paved driveway. If it's winter, I'll try to change the oil at a friend's house, but if all else fails, I'll take it to the dealership quick lube that I used to work at, because I still have a few friends that work there.

Changed my oil for years and after working part time at one of those "lube express" locations, glad to have done it myself. I've been working around cars since I was 10 which is longer than the age of the average employee of this establishment. Most have little to no experience in the automotive industry, let alone know the difference between big block and small block. Got tired of constantly "fixing" others mistakes and had to move on.

My advice, stick to someone you know and trust to do the job rigtht.

I always change my own here, I know too many people that have had problems with oil change places, lost caps, loose drain plugs, lost dipsticks, filters not changed, and in one case the oil was not changed, but the filter was new!

So I don't trust those places!!
