Made in USA HEI distributors?

So far all I could find is Performance Distributors. Any others? Even the official GM HEI Distributors are made in Taiwan now...

Not sure if there are anymore. Just guessing, but maybe DUI or Taylor? MSD has a lot of stuff made overseas now, not sure about their distributors.

Re: Made in USA HEI distributors?

I bought a used GM HEI off a mid-1980s rig. Still working flawlessly. Made in USA and there are likely more of 'em out there.

DUI...if you want to spend a fortune. I would get a used unit out of a junkyard, USA made and a LOT less expensive.

What a shame. Greed defeated pride, and of course quality also suffers, parts made by people that have no care in the craft. I guess I'll stick with either of those brands.

Yeah, I could go the junk yard route, but I've spent so much already on this truck, might as well go all the way.

OEM HEIs last forever and if they wear out they can be rebuilt.

Re: Made in USA HEI distributors?

I knew there was a reason I kept all those HEI units, must have at least 20 of them pulled from cars back in the 80,s
