WTB floor shift tilt collar

Looking for the piece pictured. Mine is kinda mangled and I can’t get it straightened out. Anybody have an extra laying around? Is this piece reproduced? Thanks for any help.

Thanks for the offer Randy! I may let you try it, but she’s pretty rough. The end with the rolled edge is really disfigured and the hole for the hazard knob has some weird bends. Let me know if you want to tackle it.

Re: WTB floor shift tilt collar

I suspect i could get it reasonably straight where you could skim it with putty. I have fixed some messed up ones, not quite that bad but it looks salvageable.
No charge, you just pay shipping both ways.

I’ll let you work your magic on it. I’d still be on the lookout for a nice one if anybody else has one. Sending you a message Randy.

Re: WTB floor shift tilt collar

I worked over your collar and it turned out pretty good.
A skim of glazing putty or prime it and sand a couple times and it will be nice.
It was by far the most damaged one i have worked on, usually they just have a dent from being dropped.

I got the collar back in today. Wow! Very impressive. I’ll detail it from here and install it back on my column. Great work and thanks again for taking on this job.
