Re: pictures of shortbox stepsides

Here's my '68 known as Goldilocks. Pretty much all original, with 23,000 document miles. Was TOTM back in August this year. What a great birthday present to have her win that honor.

Welcome to the Board John. I'm sure that you have figured out by now that your picture didn't come through. Hopefully you can get that figured out so we can see a pic of your truck.

Sneakyfast. Well yours does share the same box as the 67-72s. Is that an ElCamino rear bumper? Narrowed a bit. ?

yes sir...very well spotted....el camino rear and notice the Chevrolet lettering on tailgate gone and the agrivating chains gone...cleans up the lines very nicely.

Those are the steel wheels the previous owner had on the truck when I bought it, but they were originally painted black. They've grown on me, I was looking out for a deal on some smoothies because the slots in these let the brake dust through and it's a lot of work keeping the wheels white. I like the contrast of the dark blue and white too much to go back to black wheels even though the brake dust would be less noticeable. Beauty rings are coming soon!

This is what mine looked like when I had the white rally's on it...I liked the contrast also.
