Here are a couple I've seen recently around Memphis, TN. Sorry about the crappy cell phone pics I was driving at the time.

Re: Weekly Sightings

I met the ol' timer that owns this truck at the recycling center a while back. He really doesnt seem to appreciate these trucks very much. And he could care less, that I was driving a restored '70 Suburban (I dont even think he noticed- I am thinking the Burb was offended)
It was just basic transportation for him.

He got it for free from a relative and doesnt want to sell it. (yeah, I couldn't help but ask) haha.

Well, I saw him out and about again today and I decided to grab a picture.

Here we go, a '69 I see every day in Jefferson, plus an older one my fiance snapped on our way to Gettysburg yesterday.

Re: Weekly Sightings

Well... I saw a few today too. I actually went to Pull-A-Part in Charlotte this afternoon and they had about SEVEN 67-72's. A lot of the good stuff was picked over, but there is a few things I may go back for. Then I stopped at another junkyard near Mooresville. He had another 4 or 5, but I still didnt get anything off of them. I just found a fender for the '84.

I didn't take any photos of them because that's like going to a cemetary and snapping shots of headstones, but I did see a salvagable mid-60's truck...

I saw this one at Golden Corral on Tuesday...

I saw this one in downtown Mooresville this afternoon:

and I saw this one at the gas station a few hours ago.

SOME GOOD LOOKIN' TRUCKS! I am telling ya, they are everywhere around here. Just be thankful Im not posted '73 and newer, because I think 1 in 10 trucks you pass around here are 73-87 Chevy's. haha

Re: Weekly Sightings

man that poor old truck looks like its had a rough life sitting in that mud with a twisted hood. nothing i hate more than to see these trucks wasting away in a field, a junkyard, or on a trailer to the scrapper. thats why i have become good friends with board member nbrfd007(tim). tim is becoming the man i sell trucks to after i get the couple parts off i want. he bought a 66 gmc i saved from the crusher and maybe a 68 longbed too. he even has a 71 or 72 wrecker that he picks them up in, he truly loves his trucks.
