235 distributor pics

What are you specifically looking for? Google images for "235 engine" and plenty of photos come up. Click the link in my signature for manuals and there are tech books there. Most service manuals (Chiltons, Haynes, and GM) for the period have info on installation, rebuilding and tuning. I don't have any of the reference book where I am now. Be specific and I can take a look tonight and see what I have that might help. If its basic "how to install a distributor when its been removed" try a site search, in the engine sections. Basically you get the engine to true #1 piston to top dead center, drop in the distributor with the rotor pointing to #1 wire position, make sure it is seated. Wire according to fireing order and rotation. Make sure point gap and dwell are set correctly. Make sure wiring to the distributor is correct. Fire it up and time it. Which part of the process are you having trouble with???

This is what Im looking for. There are some pics on google yes, but many are slightly different. So it would be cool to see other folks wiring positions at distributor.

I have the shop manual, read forums, etc., TDC, points. Even had conversation with other members and friends.

MrT , can I call you that/ Thanks for the pic. Looks like my dist is in a similar position and wired the same. I've seen other pics where the #1 is closest to where you took the pic from or closest to pass side.
