Because everything rusts in the midwest? There is also a nice looking Ochre '71 in Tacoma (south of Seattle) for $2500.

I meant more that I'd be happy to pick up a barely-restoreable blazer tub (with expected rust, needs WS frame, no or missing drivetrain parts and maypop tires) for $500 around these parts, and they're NEVER for sale. Fully restored blazers go for a good third higher here than anywhere else in the country it seems, while you spoiled NW guys get nearly rust free blazers at bargain rates...

Ads can be deceiving

Trust me, I just drove 5 hours each way to go get that piece of s**t with my flat deck trailer and I wouldn't have given him $300.00 for it. Tub was rusty, top was junk, no front clip, seats were out of a car, no bumpers, no drivetrain. He told me all it needed was a motor and trans. Front diff wasn't even bolted in. Only part of any interest to me was the carpet hold down strips which were pretty nice but not worth $600.00. Don't wast your time.
Darrell...
