Spot lights
I bought another spot light yesterday at the C 10 Nationals in Maggie Valley NC. Paid the guy $20.00 for it and took it off the head ache bar myself.
Looked it up on the Unity website and found it. Model #S6 replacement parts are right at $100.00 just for parts. If you want the whole thing they have to make it and the cost isn't on the website. It cleaned up nicely. Have to buy a bulb for it but I'm going to try and find a cheap LED bulb if possible. I found the regular bulb on Amazon. $21.00.

Re: Spot lights
Great deal.Spotlights are still used a lot in this part of the world during calving season.Back in the seventies when jackrabbits were thick all a young guy needed was a 22 rifle a spotlight and his Dads pickup.Anybody whoever’s hunting jacks at night knows how much fun it was.

Well I guess I'm officially collecting spot's now. I was given another one today. This makes 3 hand held spots I have.

Re: Spot lights
My buddy bought a brand new CJ 7 when they came out in 1976, he worked for a farmer who had lots of Alfalfa Hay. Lots of good times standing up in the roll cage chasing and shooting Cottontail's and Jack Rabbits at night.

Congratulation Andy to your S6! Thanks for the hint with the seamed bulb.
Found out today that the standard 1/2 " drill for my H1 is not long enough. Postponed! http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...49#post8630249

Re: Spot lights
The switch in my spotlight shorted out. I bought another complete unit off ebay for parts, but the parts haven't migrated over yet.

Re: Spot lights
I bought one from a member here who removed it from one of these trucks in working order. He just didn't want it on there. I keep forgetting I have it till I see it. Then I remember I'm holding off till I restore it. Not sure if I'll switch cabs or just tops with the clearance lamp cab I have. If I swap whole cabs I don't want my original to have the hole

Re: Spot lights
Yes it did. I had to work on the one in the ramp truck the other day. I cleaned it all up good and sanded the contacts down good. When I turn the handle it would cut off. Now it stays on all the way around.
