Just ordered mine today. The plan is to paint it the same color as my truck.

Re: Brothers Wood bed kits ?

I purchased one back in 2009 through Brothers and it was shipped and arrived from MAR-K. I found that rather odd, but was happy to support MAR-K as well. The wood was a really nice pine and the bolts were really easy to identify. The slats were easy to prep and paint. I painted my wood with exterior flat black paint on both sides with 4 layers each board and put spray on bed liner on my slats. Still having issues getting the bed sides to line up with the holes, but everything else went in easy and straight. I am going to take the wood back off and start over again working the sides of the bed to get them to line up with the holes.
I paid 475 or so for the wood bed kit, and was very satisfied. Good Luck with yours.
In my experience with Brothers or any vendor just make sure they really understand what your ordering, so the correct parts you want is what comes to you.
