a comany such as PIE, PAC, or periphrial( forgot spelling) , makes an adapter that plugs into the AUX port onto the stock radio and there is an RCA plugin right there to plug in a RCA to 1/8 stereo adapter

You could always use a FM Modulator but in all honesty your better off installing an aftermarket head unit for that type of application. They sound better to boot.

If shipping isn't too bad I could give you a kit to install left over from my 95 GMC Jimmy. (It was free to me and the vehicle already had an aftermarket deck). But I'm not sure about shipping to Canada.

Re: stereo Q's on a 96 S-10 blazer

The kit is the plastic bezel to put a single DIN unit in the stock location, a wiring harness to hook up to the stock plug (no hacking stock wiring) and an antenna adapter to go from GM to aftermarket decks. It's just sitting in my basement and we no longer own the Jimmy, so if you want it, just pay shipping and I can get it to Montana.

But, if you're looking for a new deck, I got the kit free from Crutchfield.com when I bought a new deck from them, and that might be easier than me shipping one to you if you can find a good deal on their website.

Anyways, you want it, it's yours.
