Lookin' good. Do you have a goal as to when you'd like to have this on the road? You've got your work cutout for you...

Re: Project N2Deep

Bought a new toy (1966 Airstream Overlander trailer) and having one installed (new pool). Haven't had a lot of time for the project. I wasn't happy with the firewall, so I'm re-blocking it.

Re: Project N2Deep

Your truck looks sweet!!!! I like everything you have done to it so far. On your firewall did you skin it or did you replace it! I love how clean that looks. Nice job! Also you cut the roof line back a little bit for the door to be flush with the roof line right? Do you have any more pics of the shave drip rail? Thanks

Josh

The shop removed the old firewall and replaced it with a new skin. They also shaved drip rails (reworked all gaps). They moved the upper door out so that it was flush with the cab.

Your truck looks great.
What type of paint and primer did you use on the front end?

Re: Project N2Deep

Ok sold the 71 GMC (bought a 67 CST), selling the crate motor and worked a lot of OT. I have some cash to spend on the project. I can either put it together and drive it primered or have my buddy paint it and work on it for awhile longer. I had him come over today and look at the truck (he said he could do anything I wanted-two toned, graphics, silver leaf etc...) Any opinions? What color (leaning towards silver). I know I should finish the truck, then blow it apart and have it painted. But I really want to see some color on it. Pics of the 67!

Re: Project N2Deep

When I saw your truck for sale my heart sank. Glad to see you got back on the bull now grab that sucker by the horns and bring it home. You have the inspiration thats how you got as far as you did. You have a good vision follow it through and I will finish mine as well. Sometimes the rudder falls off the ship so we must put it back on and sail forward.
