Ok I got it all apart, ready for paint tomorow! It really was a 'button'..lol

How the HECK did you get the light switch from the left to the right? unpeel all the loom and crap and rewire or WHAT?

Gee, I thought it was unbolt and move its not gonna be long enough..i got pix commin!

Can I drive my truck like this (temporarily) if I cover up the naked plug in things?

I know I wont have any guages...lol

in the 67 i made a little harness that simply plugs in the orginal wiper plug to extend it enough for the wipers to be put on the right side, like the later models lights on left wipers on right

thanks it was the simplest way to fix the problem, yes just a male end terminal for the factory plug end and a female terminal for the wiper switch end. It should be ready for spring unless something crazy goes wrong. I'm kinda excited about the snow maybe, it might be a goodun the wife isn't wanting it because they don't have many "weather" days left and they are gonna take days out of there spring break if the use them all. BTW she is a teacher.

The lights go on the right, right? Wipers stay where they are (I dont want the cluster to say lites, when its really wipers, etc)

Thanks! Any idea what to clean it with (windex) or will that mess somethign 40 years old up with?...

wipers on right or passenger side, lights on left the driver side

hey hub better put a extra blanket on tonite 7-8" of snow is what newschannel2 just said!!! 3-6" here!!! YEAHHHHHHH I cant wait Ive never SEEN that much snow! Gonna go sled, ride fourwheelers work on the truck play in the snow etc etc lol!

What do yall think of hemi orange on the guage needles? (Bought a can thinking it was chevy orange)

i just wanna detail everything. Im going to polish around the edges of the blue dash also.

So just paint the needles and clean wash dusty nasty parts?

Whatta bout on the clear, I read somewere that someone said windex will take off the MPH #'s ?

well its here i might just stay home from work today the truck is snowed in again haven't seen this much since 1993. i get some more pics when i go out playing and post them in my build thread

haha i'll post my snow pix too!!!! we got ALOT OF SNOW! About how many inchs ya got hubscrub?!

I have great luck. My lil sis turned gas stove WAY UP last nite and had the smoke alarms going off at 3AM so I was up for 1 hr turning everything off turning stove down trying to go back to sleep. tThen my grandpaw calls (he has apt. in basement) saying there is no gas, so I go outside in the 6" of snow we got (it was nice until you are forced to be out in it) and check the propane, 0 propane, so hopefully the propane truck can make it to my house BFE.

Anyway, back on the guages..heres a few pix..
