Re: Post those wheels gallery

I've been cleaning these 15" Rocket Racing Wheels to go back on my 72. They've been sitting in my grandfather's driveway for over 20 years. Didn't take a specific "before" picture, but they're the wheels in my profile pictures.

Right now, I've got some 15" bullet holes with mismatched bald tires on the truck, so we can move it around as needed.

Good looking ride. You ever come out to MoJo Burger in Willow Glen?

These are old school 16" Crager SS, but they quit making Radial T/A's raised letter for 16" so I'm stuck.

What are the b.s. specs on those? Did you narrow the rear (or what rear did you use if not stock)?

I run 15x10 American Racing Outlaw II's, with 275/60/15 BF Goodrich T/A Radials. I hear that they quit making these tires, so I don't know what I'll use for replacements. I like the Raised White letters. Old School

Sorry about the Aussie style pic.

Not to worry, BFG still makes them. I just bought some for my '65 Bel Air wagon about a month ago. I run 235/60/15's up front & 275/60/15's in the rear, but my letters are to the inside . I will say they are way up there in price now compared to what they were 10-15 years ago.

Re: Post those wheels gallery

Ok, I'm posting this picture in the hopes that I will get some sympathy.

Truck came with these fugly 24"s.

It's 1967 6 x 5.5 with drum all the around. I was poking around this thread because I want something like torque thrusts (but very flexible). I'm afraid, hearing things like my hubs won't work with many of the rims out there.

Anyone recommend something that they know will fit?

p.s. I'm going to lower the rear 2 inches.

I came close to buying those 645's but decided to go with these 650's 20x10 rears and 20x 8.5 fronts . They offer these in black, chrome, and grey
